With the addition of Collegiate Sand programs and the popularity of Junior Beach events, the need for Professional Beach officials will only grow in the near future.  The Carolina Region will organize Beach Officials Clinics each season to meet demand.  For more information, please contact Ronnie Mutter, Carolina Region Beach Referee Chair.

2024 Clinic Information:

June 28-29, 2024 – Apex, NC. 

• The Friday evening clinic will be at the Sonesta  ES Suites (2900 Regency Parkway, Cary, NC 27518). It starts at 7 PM sharp- please get there early. We will be meeting in the breakfast area.
• On court session will be at the Southern Sand beach courts on Saturday, June 29: 6175 Old Jenkins Rd., Apex, NC 27523 at 8 AM.
• Uniform: Black shorts and a Plain white polo shirt, sandals or white shoes, and a white hat if needed.
• Equipment needed: whistle, clipboard, ink pen, sunscreen and sunglasses. Make 5 copies of the scoresheet (front and back sided-sent to official when registered).
• Bring water/drinks/food. It will be hot out and you will be in the sun all day.
• If you are staying overnight- please contact each other about sharing a room. Attendees must attend a clinic on Friday night and the beach tournament on Saturday.
