The Carolina Region has made the difficult and disappointing decision to cancel all one-day CR-sanctioned tournaments in January, 2021 on our regular season schedule.  The Region received notice recently that several large facilities that had already requested to host would not be able to hold events in January after all.  The state’s recent tightening of indoor gathering restrictions also played a large role in this decision.  The safety of all our participants must come first, and we felt it was in the best interest of our state and community to cancel our one day events in January.  UPDATE: The City of Oaks has moved their event to May 1 & 2.  The Carolina Kick Off is still scheduled to play but did change sites to Concord & Indian Trail.  The Junior Tournament schedule has been updated with the cancellation notices and tournament moves.  Clubs have been notified, and we will begin processing full refunds over the next couple weeks.  We are hopeful that the release of a vaccine will see restrictions begin to ease and that we will be able to hold the rest of the scheduled events.  We will also discuss whether to add additional playing opportunities after March.  We will announce any of those opportunities at a later time.  Thank you for your understanding.  This was not a decision made lightly, and we know it will disappoint those wanting to try to get back to a somewhat normal activity.  We hope to see you back on the courts soon!
