We are sad to report that Twin City Volleyball Academy Co-Director, Heather Kahl Holmes passed away on May 29.
She had battled cancer since 2012. Heather played volleyball in college at Clemson and was named one of the top 50 players in ACC history. She served as Head Coach at Wake Forest University from 2005 to 2012. She stepped down in 2013 to spend more time with her family. But volleyball was still in her blood, and in 2016 she helped found Twin City Volleyball Club in Winston-Salem.
The Carolina Region sends out its love and support for Heather's family, friends, teammates, and the entire TCVA family at this difficult time. She will be missed! A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm on June 11 at Wait Chapel on the Wake Forest Campus.
